Put your hands up for Detroit!
EXCLUSIVE EMAIL LIST BUMP TRACKS FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE
We have two exclusive Bump tracks for you to check out. You can check them out by clicking on the flashing link above. Only members of our mailing list have access to these tracks and they'll only be posted for a short period of time. This gives us the opportunity to share with you some rare live tracks, new demos, or maybe even some unheard recordings from back in the day. We want to thank you for being a part of our mailing list and we hope you enjoy!
Track 1: Tricks Demo: This is a rough recording of one of the newest Bump tunes that was written by Clint Carpenter and Bump. It's a great summer tune!
Track 2: Buenos Tardes Amigos (by Ween): This song was recorded during the Detroit International River Days in the summer of 2007. Our first set of the day was in the GM Wintergarden and there were some issues with the volumn for all the bands who were booked there that day. Rather than just stopping, Yorg and Sterr did a couple of covers "acoustic" with just their electric guitars.

DUNEGRASS MUSIC FESTIVAL RECAP
What an amazing time we had at Dunegrass! It seems that all you hear about coming out of Michigan is the doom and gloom of the downward spiral of the Big Three, the slumping economy, the Kwame Kilpatrick Scandal, or the electoral vote mess; however, some truly beautiful things are taking place right here in our great state! Quit thinking negatively and "Say Yes to Michigan!" and "Say Yes to Bump!" One of these beautiful things is Dunegrass Music Festival located in Empire, MI.
We cruised into town on Thursday night, after setting up camp in the dark we ventured over to My Dear Disco's set in the Dance Tent. Yorg sat in with MDD on "Michael Jackson Shoes." You can view video of Yorg cutting a rug with MDD HERE.
What followed after was an insane camp site sing-a-long that goes down in history as one of the best night's in recent Bump festival history. Nearly 50 people joined us til the wee hours of the night singing everything from The Cure, Tom Petty, The Flaming Lips, Grateful Dead, and James. It was the perfect way to kick off an amazing weekend!
Our two sets were awesome as our CD's were flying off the shelves post show. It was special to see the response; we travel out of state so much it's sometimes easy to forget how good you have it back home in Michigan. A big thanks to all those new friends we met for the first time, the old friends who we haven't seen in a long time who got to see what we're all about these days, and most importantly those old friends who have been with us from the begining!
We had a blast the entire weekend, it was one of those special weekends that you remember for ever so big thanks goes out to Stephen Volas and the entire Dunegrass Festival staff for having us and showing great hospitality. This festival deserves deep roots here in Northern Michigan so be sure to come out and support Michigan music!

Recording with Bob Seger's horn section, The Motor City Horns: "The Horns" have been good friends and fans of ours for a couple of years since John Rutherford saw us play up in Petoskey a couple of summers ago. We were privaleged to have them sit in with us on a couple of songs at the Majestic a couple of years ago as well. They graciously invited us to record a couple of tracks for their big upcoming studio album. Here is some footage of us recording Apollonia for them...CHECK IT OUT HERE
